Apparently...not part of the plans but surely a flexible add-on. Most choose to modify in some way to suit...seems to be one of those ways.

It appears he built in the storage but I don't know about the flotation...It is possible it is simply a sealed tank.
Now for the info...This is the first build of a Duckskiff, a humble design effort of mine. Plans are free exclusively from Duckworks...on the plans page. This guy did a really nice example and I wanted to show it off a bit.

It looks really nice. I like the gunwales. Did the boat turn out nice and stiff?
A skeg or rudder in back would help boat control with the trolling motor up front. Most people leave the outboard tilted partly into the water for this reason. _________________ Strange but not a Stranger |

It is already on for every profile. I have yet to figure out why it will not accept HTML tags. Sorry. |
